The Shawnee Mission School District has cancelled school for November 3 in celebration of the Kansas City Royals World Series victory. The Victory Parade will start at noon Tuesday at the Power and Light District and end at Union Station. Following the parade will be speeches from Royals players and executives as well as Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Sly James.
