This year’s Bonfire was held Aug. 30 in the NW gym. Despite the fact that there couldn’t be a real bonfire due to the Johnson County burn ban issued July 2, students still enjoyed the assembly.
“Being in the show was really cool because I felt like I could be a part of it, and so I got a new perspective of the whole assembly,” sophomore Guin Ragan said. “I really liked it.”
“I felt like it really didn’t live up to what you thought it’d be, but it’s still fun to be with the school and get pumped up for the football game,” sophomore Carson Wapp said, “but I like it better with the fire for sure.”
