She tells the story from Heaven, and shows the lives of those around her and how her death and the attempt to find her lost body has had an effect on them.

Youth In Revolt the story of an affable teen who falls hopelessly in love with a beautiful and free-spirited Sheeni Saunders. Family, geography and jealous ex-lovers keep the two apart. Nick (Michael Cera) goes to the highest extents to get to Sheeni, including developing an alter ego with an ascot and a mustache that lead him to a path of destruction.
