Varsity Football wins first home game

NW’s varsity football team won their opening home game against Shawnee Mission West, winning 44 to zero.
The Cougars’ defense only gave 59 rushing yards to the Vikings, while the offense gained 321 yards. Senior Malik O’Atis ended the game with a total of three touchdowns and 315 all-purpose yards.
The Cougars face Olathe North Friday, Sep 9, at 7 p.m. at the Olathe District Activity Center.
