The Varsity Boys Soccer Team Are Regional Champions

The varsity boys soccer team played their second regional game tonight, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. By beating out Olathe Northwest making the boys regional champions of the 6A class and putting them at the fourth seed. The boys won 4-0 with a goal from, junior Cole Slack, junior Ismaiel Cisse and two goals from senior Henry Fears. With this being the first regional win since 2014, the boys are beyond excited.

“I feel like some people might be surprised that this team has achieved such an accomplishment, but me and everyone on the roster know that this was well deserved, now the other teams need to watch out,” said Slack.

The boys will now advance to the state quarterfinals where they will compete against Olathe East at the College Boulevard Activity Center (CBAC) on Tuesday Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
