Cougar Community Commitment’s first Cappuccino Day of the year is Friday, Sept. 16. They will be selling cappuccinos, hot chocolate, half and half (half cappuccino, half hot chocolate) and lemonade, each for a dollar. They will also be selling cookies, three for one dollar. These items will be available in the mall before school up until fourth hour.
The proceeds for this Cappuccino Day will benefit two members of the NW community. First, senior Taylor Pagacz whose father had a relapse in his acute myeloid leukemia in June. The second is a NW teacher who wishes to remain anonymous.
“It means a lot to me and my family,” Pagacz said. “It shows how close knit our community is and that we are always going to be there for each other.”
