Bees are critical for the future of the earth

Bees are responsible for 80 percent of pollination that takes place on Earth, according to greenpeace.org. Pesticide usage, habitat loss and global warming are a few reasons the bee population is in decline. Although many flinch at the sight of a bee, these tiny creatures are responsible for the pollination of fruits, nuts and vegetables.
