The boys golf season will officially start this week with tryouts at Tomahawk Golf Course.

Tryouts will continue every day this week on different courses until numbers are final.

Coach Jim Bamburg is excited for the season for many reasons. To begin with, 2014 state qualifiers senior Mitchell Bolton, junior Blake Allen and sophomore Jackson Grotogut will be returning to the team this year. Bamburg has also been in touch with many players who have been competing in tournaments throughout the off-season, hired swing coaches and have been working on their technique. Their first tournament will be the SM South Invitational at Deer Creek on April 1.
