What is your favorite subject to teach?
World geography: in the past i have also taught US history, and i love that.

What is your favorite sport?
Softball: this is my first year to help out with the team, and I love softball.

What are your goals for the team?
To grow and get better every practice, every day.

Have you played softball before?
Yes; growing up I played and I love to play.

Have you ever coached before?
I have never coached before, but I like it. Try outs were a good experience and coaches kinney and Balderson have been doing well helping me out.

How did you get the job?
I emailed Grinage, when I saw the position was open, and he set up an interview with the head coach and he and I met and then he offered me the position.

What changes are you planning for this season?
just really taking the lead from the old coach.

What are you doing to prepare?
I have been talking with other coaches from Olathe and the SM schools and most of them were JV coaches and talking notes during the tryouts and going over things with the coach.

What are the significant changes from last year to this year?
We’re still waiting until we make up the teams.

Who are you looking for to step into a leadership role?
The older girls have been teaching the new girls and even some of the younger girls have been leaders and they have been mature and have helped out, and it has been going very well.
