The theme for the halftime show is "The Wizard of Oz meets The Wiz". The performance was a collaboration of varsity drill team and The Marching Cougar Pride. "It's fun being a senior on the team and being one of the officers [on the drill team] because I have a lot of experience with flags and I like leading the less experienced girls." Nelson said. "The show this year is really fun, especially since i got to be the scarecrow. Im glad that i'm ending high school with this show."
