Bridgerton season four – Part 1 debuts Jan. 29 and with Part 2 on Feb. 26 (Netflix)
- Season four, full of Cinderella-esque storylines following Sophie Baek (played by Yerin Ha) the daughter of an earl turned servant by her stepmother and Benedict Bridgerton (played by Luke Thompson), who will be a bachelor no more. The show goes back to book three, An Offer From a Gentleman, with a focus on the second son. Furthermore, season four welcomes new characters into the wild world of the Regency era.

Wuthering Heights – February 14
- Starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie, featuring music from Charli XCX, the classic novel of love and death by Emily Bronte has sparked controversy for appearing overly provocative, which may overshadow other themes in the novel like violence, social rank, economic prestige and rank, according to Forbes. Along with the race-change of Heathcliff, who is being played by Elordi. Contributing to the film is Emerald Fennel, filmmaker of Promising Young Woman and Saltburn.

Euphoria season three – April (HBO Max)
- Taking place after high school, season three will broaden the themes of addiction, mental health, and identity in relation to adulthood. Euphoria has been praised for exceptional cinematography and powerful performances while facing backlash for unnecessarily sexualizing characters who are under 18. Appearing for the first time, Trisha Paytas and pop sensation Rosalía will be featured in Euphoria season three. Barbie Ferreira’s character Kat Hernandez will be leaving the show after two seasons of success. Questions about how the story will continue after the death of Angus Cloud who played Fezco in the series arose once season three was announced.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 – May 1
- Sequel to the 2006 rom-com, Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Based on the novel Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns by Lauren Weisberger, the plot takes place almost a decade after the original. Even though Andy Sachs (played by Hathaway) and Emily Charlton (played by Blunt) have started a successful bridal magazine on their own, Andy finds her life leading down a path that takes her back to the devil herself. As well as questions surrounding Sydney Sweeny’s appearance on set after her brand-deals controversy, returning is the original director and screenwriter, David Frankel and Aline Brosh McKenna.

Moana live action: July 10th (Disney+)
- Starring Catherina Laga’aia as Moana and Dwayne Johnson, returning for his role as Maui. The film is set in ancient Polynesia and tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a chief, who is chosen by the ocean to save her people. Thomas Kail, producer of Hamilton has been chosen to direct. Laga’aia’s naturally curly hair has been straightened and re-curled for the movie, causing controversy over the representation in the film. Even though the film has faced criticism due to the use of extensive CGI, many are excited for a live-action reimagining of the beloved movie.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping – November 20
- Directed by Francis Lawrence and screenplay by Billy Ray, Sunrise on the Reaping is the sixth installment to the dystopian Hunger Games film series. The film dives into themes of political manipulation, dangerous propaganda and society under an authoritarian administration. The movie centers around the 50th Hunger Games, in which Haymitch Abernathy competed successfully. Starring Joseph Zada as Haymitch, Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove, Mckenna Grace as Maysille Donner and Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket. Ralph Fiennes will portray President Snow, returning to his villainous origins after playing Voldemort in the Harry Potter Series.

Dune part three – December 18
- Inspired by the book, Dune: Messiah by Frank Herbert, Timothée Chalamet returns for his role as Paul Atreides in Dune: Part Three. Following a time jump of two decades, the third movie in the series will likely follow Paul as he rises to power and his struggle to balance his “holy” duties as well as expanding on the political relations between the Emperor and the Bene Gesserit. Alongside Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Robert Pattinson, Jason Momoa, Anya Taylor-Joy and Rebecca Ferguson will make appearances. Denis Villeneuve co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts. After the slight plot changes in the second movie, will Dune: Part Three stay faithful to the book or follow a new path?
