What are your thoughts on graduation?

“(Coach Cooper) calls it ‘life after death’. I used to think that was a really grim way of looking at it. It absolutely is, but it’s also accurate. Graduating is death in a way; it’s the end of an era.”

What are you most proud of?

“I’m proud that I made it through senior year in one piece. Words don’t really do it justice, but there were a lot of ups and downs this year, or times I thought it wasn’t going to work out very well. But it’s okay.”

What is your biggest regret?

“Trying to put all of myself into everything I do. The point of high school is to grow and make mistakes. Have time for yourself, have time for the things you want to do. It’s not just ‘pour everything you can into everything.”
