Hey seniors! Don’t miss out on the last chance to buy a senior ad for the yearbook. The final deadline has been extended to January 19. Limited space remains, so get one while you can. Contact Emilia Battles or Hadley Sayers or stop by room 152 for more information.

All SM NW high school students are required to carry their NW student ID when at NW. If you do not have an ID or cannot find your ID, come to the office to request a new ID card.  The cost of a new ID is $5. 

SENIORS: If you did not have open lunch last semester and would like to apply for 2^nd semester open lunch, come to the office for a senior open lunch application. There is a $5 ID print fee.

Counseling

Seniors who have not ordered their cap and gown – Balfour will be here on Tuesday, January 12^th during all three lunches to take orders.  Remember, students can still access Balfour online!

If you plan to take the February 6th ACT, register online by tomorrow, January 8th in order to avoid the late fee. Go to ‘actstudent.org‘ to register.

Registration for night school is January 11 and 12 at Horizons High School from 4 to 6 pm.  See your academic counselor prior to this date to get a registration form.

Wednesday, January 13 – Pittsburg State University

Athletics:

Girls interested in playing softball, there will be winter conditioning after school 3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We will meet in front of the weight room today.

There will be a brief mandatory volleyball meeting in Cafeteria 1 at 2:50 pm TODAY, Jan 7^th.  You will have the opportunity to be introduced to your new coach, who will have some information for you that will be pertinent for the future.  Please plan on attending even if you currently are in a winter sport.  Any questions see Mr. Giacalone in the Athletic Office.

Clubs:

The Robotics team will be meeting after school today from 3:00–4:00to prepare for build season. See you there!

Smash Bros is starting the semester up again today after school in 155! Smash Bros meets Thursdays. NOTE: Meeting will be in room 105 on Monday. Love it.

Start the New Year right at the Young Republicans meeting tomorrowmorning at 7:05 in room 120. We will be covering a few major topics for the election this year. All are welcome.

Prom Committee meeting tomorrow, Friday, at 7:10 in room 124.
