Today is the deadline for the Reflection Program entries.  All entries must be submitted by 3pm today to the PTSA mailbox in the office. 

 

All SM high school students are required to carry their student identification card and may need to show this ID when entering SM Northwest.  If you do not have or cannot locate your ID you should come to the NW office today and request a new ID card.  The cost of a new ID is $5.00.

 

Counseling

If you plan to take the February 6th ACT, register online by January 8th in order to avoid the late fee. Go to ‘actstudent.org‘ to register.

 

The district has been notified by the College Board that the release of the PSAT/NMSQT scores from the October test have been delayed nationwide.  PSAT scores will be available online to students in mid-January.

 

Athletics:

Girls interested in playing softball, there will be winter conditioning after school 3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We will meet in front of the weight room starting today, Jan 6th

 

There will be a mandatory volleyball meeting in Cafeteria 1 at 2:50 pmtomorrow, Thursday, Jan 7th.  You will have the opportunity to be introduced to your new coach who will have some information for you that will be pertinent for the future.  The meeting will be brief.  Please plan on attending even if you currently are in a winter sport.  Any questions see Mr. Giacalone in the Athletic Office.

 

Clubs:

The Robotics team will be meeting after school today and tomorrowfrom 3:00-4:00 to prepare for build season kickoff. See you there!

The young democratic socialists club will be meeting Thursday Jan. 7th, at 7:10 in Room 105. Come be a part of the Change tomorrow morning 7:10 AM room 105.

 

Start the New Year right at the Young Republicans meeting this Friday morning at 7:05 in room 120. We will be covering a few major topics for the election this year. All are welcome.
