12-4-15 Announcements


All schedule changes for second semester must be completed by December 17.  No schedule changes in January.  See the counseling secretary in the main office to schedule an appointment with your academic counselor to change your schedule before Dec. 17th.



During all three lunches, robotics will be letting people drive our 2015 robot! Come to the area right in front of the office to drive our robot and ask questions. See you there!


If you auditioned for The Foreigner, please remember to turn your conflict calendar in, to Ms. Rodgers, today.


If you missed out on getting your rally towel last night be sure to come to the boys game tonight at 7 pm! Theme is Orange Out! See you there!

“All participants in this year’s NaNoWriMo: stop by the library after school Monday the 7th to pick up a prize for participating in NaNoWriMo. If you can show Mrs. Stigge evidence of progress on a novel- either your NaNo verification or progress bar, or your typed file itself, you will get a prize! Monday, after school in the library.”


The Shawnee Mission school district week at Papa John’s pizza starts this Saturday Dec. 5th.  Mention NW school name when placing your food order and NW will receive 20% donation.  This promotion goes through Friday, Dec. 11.  Pick up a flier in the office.  


Do you want to be a part of the 7th annual Northwest talent show?  Then come to room 132 to sign up and get the rules!  Student Council is hosting tryout auditions next week on Wed. and Thurs. Dec. 9 and 10 before and after school in the Orchestra Room 37 but you MUST sign up first!  All music, dance, acting, comedy, poetry, and variety acts are welcomed!  Help make this event one to remember!  Go to Room 132 with questions.


The 2015 -2016 Reflections Program theme is “Let your Imagination Fly”. Categories are dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Go to www.ptareflectons.org  for information. All entries DUE Jan. 6th.  Questions? See the flier in the office.
