11-20-15 Announcements

Hey NW…..Today is the last day of the NW STUCO Canned food drive and it is Canned Food Drive t-shirt day!  T-shirts will be on sale in the mall during all 3 lunches for only $10.  ALL cans and money will be collected on this FINAL DAY of the drive AND be sure to watch for additional surprises TODAY!!  THANK YOU NW for donating to your local Johnson County Christmas Bureau!



The United States Naval Academy representative will be here on Monday at 9:00am to discuss the opportunities the Naval Academy has to offer future leaders.  See Mrs. Alvey in the office to sign up for the visit.



Reminder to this season’s football players and their parents. The football dinner and awards evening is this Sunday at 6 p.m. at NW.  You will start with dinner in the cafeteria and then move to the auditorium for the rest of the program.  If questions see Coach Black.


Attention ALL NW student/athletes interested in competing this spring on the track and field team: sign-ups continue today in the mall during all three lunch periods. Stop by and meet the Coaches


Any student athlete interested in bowling and did not make it to the team meeting, please stop by and see Coach Dent in rm 153 before the Thanksgiving break for important tryout information. Remember that you need a physical on file by Thursday, December 3 in order to try out. Let’s roll!



Freshmen! Link Crew is hosting Movie Night tonight at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria.  All you need is your ID.  Come hang out with your Link Crew Leaders! Ask your Link Crew Leaders, Mrs. LaMourie, Ms. Horner, or Mr. Wolfe for information. 


The Repertory theatre class is excited to announce their production of a collection of one act, children’s shows! All are student directed by repertory theatre students, Kenzi Parsons, Frederick Rivera, and Sarah Smith! Performances will be TODAY, November 20th at 7pm in the Little Theatre. Tickets are $2 or free with an activity pass.


We are about to Throw Down. Come watch the 3rd annual SMNW Wrestling Challenge Tournament.  The wrestlers will be battling for their Varsity and JV spots on Tuesday November 24th at 6:00pm in the Auxiliary gym.  Price of admission is a case of water.  Have a great day Cougars.


The moment you’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Super Smash Bros. Club is officially back! Meet in room 105 on the Monday AFTER Thanksgiving break, 11/30, to play some good smash bros. Love it.
