    VETERANS DAY

    Lunch today: chicken & waffles OR corn dogs

    Turn in your quarters and all other loose change to your 5th hour class TODAY as we conclude the “BE THE CHANGE DRIVE”. All change will be counted as double points! Yes that’s right, double points for all change donated today! Thanks for your help Northwest!

    The Mother Son – Father Daughter Dance is this Saturday, November 14th, from 8-10 pm at Northwest, for Juniors and Seniors. It’s a decade dance so dress up in your favorite decade! Admission is $5 per person and student I.D. is required. Also, canned goods, personal care items, and cash donations are accepted at the door.

    Please join us in the cafeteria today at 3pm to congratulate Brenni Rose, Jared Marolf and Blake Allen as they sign their Letter of Intent to play college sports.

    Female athletes interested in playing softball in the spring: There will be an informational meeting after school TOMORROW in room 212. If you plan on participating in softball and can’t attend the meeting then you must see Coach Kinney ASAP.

    There is a short baseball meeting for any and all FRESHMAN and SOPHOMORES tomorrow morning, November 12th at 7:15 am in room 228.

    All boys interested in trying out for basketball need to attend a brief meeting after school TOMORROW, Thursday Nov. 12th , in cafeteria 4. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you must see Coach Rose prior to the meeting.

    Heads up Athletes! If you are planning on trying out for a winter sport you must have a physical turned in to the Athletic Office by noon this FRIDAY, 11/13. If you are not sure if you turned one in, please check with Mrs. Horseman in the Athletic Office before THIS FRIDAY.

    Bring your parents to the Shawnee Mission Financial Aid Night here at Northwest tonight, Nov 11 at 6:30 p.m. Topics will include how to qualify and apply for college financial aid,

    scholarships, loans, grants and other resources, and how to complete the FAFSA.

    Clubs:
    Not So Late Night is December 1st! Stop by Spirit Club’s table during all three lunches to order a t-shirt. Short sleeves are $10, and long sleeves are $15. Do it and you’re cool!

    Link Leaders don’t forget you need to attend the Link Leader meeting Thursday either at 7am OR during seminar after announcements. See LaMourie, Horner, or Wolfe if you have questions or

    concerns.

    Don’t be reckless, come to Breakfast club every other Thursday morning at 7 in the food room. See Morgan Seiter or Ms. Fredrickson for questions.

    Interested in technology? 3D printing? Lego Mindstorms? Come to the library during seminar to see all of these items and more in action. There will even be time to play with them.
    See Mrs. Stigge in the library if you need a pink seminar pass to come.

    Narato Club will be in room 157 tomorrow after school.

    Young Democrat socialist club will meet at 7:10 Thursday in room 105. See you tomorrow morning.
