The Marching Cougar Pride’s annual light show will be rescheduled due to weather. Band members were disappointed when told of the news.
“The seniors have been preparing for weeks because it’s such an important day for them,” trumpet player Valerie Emerson said. “But the band has been hyped about it all season.”
Although it won’t be the same weekend it usually is, this year’s light show will still be memorable for all band and drill team members, as well as the student body.
“No matter when we have it, the light show is always the best day of the year,” Emerson said. “It’s my first light show, so no matter what I’m going to be pumped.”
