NW spirit today is celebrating our country and our school with USA spirit day. . .  way to go Red, White and Blue!  Wear your Bonfire shirt tomorrow AND Friday is always COUGAR CRAZY DAY!!!!
It’s getting hot in here at NW! It’s because Bonfire is almost here! Come to support your fall sports and activities tomorrow night at 7pm in the gym!  After the assembly we will light the fire and send our sports teams to victories! Can’t wait to see you there!!!  Reminder … will need to take ALL your items with you from the assembly to the bonfire, since the building will be closed after the assembly.  You will not be allowed to re-enter the building after the bonfire.

Attention all students:  Friday is Club day. NW clubs will have tables in the mall area from 7am to 7:30 am with information on their organizations, and sign-up sheets for new members. Come early this Friday and see all the NW activities you can be involved in.

Attention sophomores: Starting next week you can purchase a student parking lot permit for your car.  Go next week to the security office in the mall to get information.

This is a reminder to all boys soccer players – you need to pick up your orange eligibility card from Coach Boren in room 120.  Completed Orange Cards are due to Coach Boren before first hour on Friday.
Last night, the boys’ varsity soccer team erased a one goal deficit and defeated the Blue Valley North Mustangs by a score of 2-1.  Ryan D’Silva scored the equalizer midway through the second half and Nate Jones tucked in the go ahead goal.  So sayeth the soothsayer, the cougars will play the Olathe East Hawks on Thursday at 7:00 setting up the first rematch of last year’s quarterfinal state game. Great Job Boys! Again remember to bring all your spirit to the varsity soccer game at Olathe East tomorrow at 7 at CBAC, because you could be chosen as “this weeks” student of the week.
The time has come for Into the Woods Auditions! See the call board for more information and to sign up for an audition time. Auditions will be September 9th after school and call backs will be September 10th and 11th.
