The staff is friendly and extremely helpful  and attentive. Walking in, Guy Fieri’s face and signature is painted on the left wall, leaving he and his Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives crew’s mark. If you’re at a loss for what to order, try the pan fried dumplings or lettuce wraps for starters, then move on to the black bean chicken. The chicken may be substituted for tofu or shrimp. You may also alter the spice on certain dishes to fit your flamin’ needs.

Q39– 1000 W 39th St, Kansas City, MO 64111. Q39 provides a classy, yet laid-back atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helps cater to your every need. They serve their amazing multi award-winning dishes to their customers just as they would the judges. You should definitely try the burnt ends, or the burnt end burger, the no jackin’ around sandwich, or the brisket. They serve lunch and dinner, but if you’re coming in for dinner you may want to make reservations because they’re always full.

Miami Ice– 1624 W 39th St, Kansas City, MO 64111 Miami Ice is an old-fashioned looking place. The staff is laid-back, don’t make you feel rushed to order quickly, and they are very talkative and friendly. They serve shaved ice with custard at the bottom, with a multitude of flavors that you can choose from- and they encourage mixing. Custard of many different flavors and hot dogs, as posted on the wall, are also served.

KC Smoke Burgers– 1610 West 39th. St. Kansas City, MO 64111 KC Smoke Burgers has a friendly and helpful staff. On Monday they offer half price burgers, Tuesday is half price hot dogs, Wednesday is half price philly steaks, and Thursday is half price gyro sandwiches. If you’re looking for spice try the Danger Zone Fire Smoke Burger, but if you’re not feeling’ the heat go for the Cheese or Bacon Cheese Smoke Burger.
