The Poetry Slam starts Thursday Apr. 9 at the beginning of first lunch and it continues until the end of the day.
Anyone is welcome to watch the slam during first lunch, but only English classes will be attending after that. If your English teacher did not sign up to go to the slam, then a live broadcast is also available. The slam is divided into a series of 25 minute rounds. There are nine rounds but only five will be completed on Thursday. The remaining rounds and finals will be held Friday Apr. 10.
