CCC raises money for St. Luke’s Hospital
March 15, 2015
The most recent CCC Cappuccino Day raised more than $1,800. The funds that were raised on March 6 will be donated to the Cancer Survivorship Program at St. Luke’s Hospital.
“I am so glad that we were able to raise that much money for St. Luke’s,” junior Jordan Sumner said. “I hope that we were able to make a difference there.”
The new regulations set by Michelle Obama’s nutrition plan caused upset when CCC learned that they would only be able to have one fundraiser each semester. However, the organization has been able to successfully coordinate two Cappuccino Days throughout the school year without violating any of the standards set by the health campaign.
