    3-6-15 Announcements


    Registration for AP tests will end on March 13.  The cost for each test is $91.  To obtain a registration form for AP testing, see Mr. Mowry or Ms. Nick in the counseling office.

    High School sophomores and juniors are invited to explore careers in Engineering at the K-State Engineering Day on Friday April 10th.  Registration deadline is March 30, 2015.  See Ms. Nick the Counseling Secretary in the office for information.


    The Lady Cougars beat the Lancers of SM East last night to advance to the final round of Sub-State. They will play the Lions from Lawrence High School – 7PM Saturday at Northwest.  Everyone will have to pay to get into the game. Tickets for Students are $5.00 and $6.00 for adults.


    Hey Northwest!  The yearbook will have a photo booth set up in the mall TODAY, during all 3 lunches.  Drop by to take a picture with your friends which may be featured in the index of this year’s book.

    Are you lonely? Do you gotta be? Well Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls matchmaker results are HERE! This week at Northwest your secret list of who you will be compatible with will be sold here in the mall during all 3 lunches result will be only $2.

    The CCC will sponsor its second and final Cappuccino Day TODAY, March 6th.  It will be during the first four hours of the school day.  We are collecting money to help those families who have a loved one in the hospital and cannot afford food or guess while their loved one is in the hospital.  Each family will be screened by St. Luke’s hospital for their needs.   Please enjoy cappuccino, hot chocolate, and homemade cookies and support the needy as well.  Thank you.

    All students who have picked up a Spirit Club Executive Board Application need to turn them in to Ms. Johnson by the end of the day TODAY. Make sure you sign up for an interview time next week and double check with Ms. Johnson all of your teacher recommendation forms are in.

    All you can eat pancake breakfast is tomorrow March 7 from 8-12 at the SMNW school cafeteria.  Come and eat delicious pancakes and help send Interact Club members to Guatemala.  Cost is $5 for students and $7 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the door or see Natalie Zimmerman or Colleen Freeman.

    Rebel is sponsoring “be you” week” by celebrating ourselves. The week’s festivities included Mirror-less Monday, Compliment Cookies on Tuesday, Whiteboard Wednesday and Poster and Pledge signing Friday – TODAY.   Sign the pledge to rebel against negative body image.  There is a ReBel meeting today starting immediately at 2:50 in FL. Help spread positivity and support this wonderful cause. Be You!
