The “Top Sophomore Meeting” will be today during seminar in the auditorium. An announcement will be made after the Seminar Show at approximately 9:45 a.m. to dismiss the sophomores. The Top Sophomores have received a letter inviting them to attend this meeting.
Registration for AP tests will end on March 13. The cost for each test is $91.00. To obtain a registration form for AP testing, see Mr. Mowry or Ms. Nick in the counseling office.
High School sophomores and juniors are invited to explore careers in Engineering at the K-State Engineering Day on April 10. Registration deadline is March 30. See Ms. Nick the Counseling Secretary in the office for information.
Athletics:
Girls’ basketball will be hosting sub-state basketball TONIGHT at 7 p.m.. Everyone will have to pay to get in as it is a Kansas State High School sponsored event. The cost will be $6 for adults and $5 for students. No passes will be accepted.
Clubs:
Hey Northwest! The yearbook will have a photo booth set up in the mall Friday, during all 3 lunches. Drop by to take a picture with your friends which may be featured in the index of this year’s book.

Young Republicans are meeting at 7:10 a.m. Friday morning in room 120. Come on by and order your t-shirt and participate in the conversation.
The CCC will sponsor its second and final Cappuccino Day TOMORROW. It will be before school and the first four hours of the school day. We are collecting money to help those families who have a loved one in the hospital and cannot afford food or guess while their loved one is in the hospital. Each family will be screened by St. Luke’s hospital for their needs. Please enjoy cappuccino, hot chocolate, and homemade cookies and support the needy as well. Thank you.
Photography club is starting back up today after school in Room 7. Please bring your cameras! There will be plenty of food so come hungry. If you have questions ask Sarah Komer or Lauren Paccapaniccia. Bring your friends and we’ll see you in room 7!
TODAY IS THE DAY………. AFTER PROM is having a fundraiser at Panera 10606 Shawnee Mission Parkway. Come between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and show the flyer – either on your mobile device or a printed flyer. Flyer can be found in the PTSA newsletter, as well as on the doors leading out of the school building. A percentage of sales will be donated to SMNW PTSA Prom committee. Thanks for your support.

All you can eat pancake breakfast is this Saturday March 7 from 8 a.m. -12 p.m. at the SMNW school cafeteria. Come and eat delicious pancakes and help send Interact Club members to Guatemala. Cost is $5 for students and $7 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the door or see Natalie Zimmerman or Colleen Freeman.
