Northwest has an outside guest policy – you MUST pick up an outside guest form in the office, if you are bringing a date from another school. The forms must be turned in to the office by Oct. 1! Looking for that special dress for Homecoming, but not looking to spend a lot of money? Come check out the dresses available at no cost to students in the Counseling office. Students are welcome to come before and after school, but must leave the office by 3:00 p.m. Students should not plan to come between classes.

Hey seniors! A sign-up sheet has been posted right outside of room 151 for anyone who has not gotten their picture taken for the yearbook yet. A picture day for both seniors and underclassmen will be held Oct. 16 so make sure to sign up as soon as possible. This is also your ONLY chance to get a retake, if desired. Just remember to sign up outside of room 151 this week!

Last night, the boys varsity soccer team defeated the Olathe North Eagles by a score of 4-0.
The Bowman brothers, Ethan and Seth, each tucked one goal into the net. Patrick “MO” Shreve banged one into the upper corner and the FRESHMAN, Jack “Attack” Lammers notched his first assist and punched in his first varsity goal. A stout defense and Jared Wolken put up their second shutout. Great job boys! Thanks to all the fans that filled the stands.
Tomorrow night, the cougars continue their playing week against the “RAIDAS” of Shawnee Mission South. Game time is 7:00. Location is Shawnee Mission South.
