Ladies and Gentlemen – the moment you’ve all been waiting for.  The theme for this year’s Homecoming Dance will be…ROYAL ROMANCE: A NIGHT IN LONDON!  Start asking your dates, shoppin’ for your dress, and gettin’ your dancin’ shoes on for the most formal event of your entire high school career.

The Homecoming dance will be Oct. 4 from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. in the NW cafeteria.  Don’t forget to wear appropriate formal attire.  That means a suit and tie with a collared shirt and formal dresses.  Keep your shoes on for the entire night and keep the dancing clean.  Northwest has an outside guest policy – you must pick up a form in the office if you are bringing a date from another school.  You can’t wait until the last minute because forms must be turned in to the office by Oct. 1!  Stay tuned to find out more about ticket sales next week. Can’t wait to see you there!

Looking for that special dress for Homecoming, but not looking to spend a lot of money?  Come check out the dresses available at no cost to students in the Counseling office.  Students are welcome to come before and after school, but must leave the office by 3:00 p.m. Students should not plan to come between classes.

This is just a reminder of the orange card process. Parents cannot sign the orange card before teachers have completed the card.  The card must be done correctly, all teachers should sign the card on Wednesday and Thursday, students then take the card home on Thursday night for parent signature, and return the card promptly to their designated coach on Friday morning.  If a parent signs the card before all the classroom teachers have signed, the card will not be accepted and you will be ineligible for the following week.
