Hey Northwest! If you did not get your picture taken at enrollment, you’ll receive a pass tomorrow to get your picture taken in the auditorium on Thursday. Check the time on your pass when you receive it. If that is an inconvenient time, come to room 151 by the end of the day on Wednesday to change it.

An organizational meeting for Spanish club will be held this Wednesday, August 27th after school in room 115.  Bring your calendars and your ideas to plan a fun-filled year of Spanish!

Hey Hey Hey!!! Orange Army T-shirts sales are starting – this year is ORANGE CAMO!!!  You MUST pre-order the t-shirt by completing the order form and paying $10.  Student Council will take orders at tables  set up in the mall during lunches this week OR take your order forms and money to room 132 after school (to Mrs. Dent) by this Friday, Aug. 29.  Parent, sibling, and faculty shirts are available.

Registration for night school is TODAY, Aug. 26 and tomorrow, Aug. 27 at Horizons High School from 4 – 6 p.m.  See your academic counselor prior to this date to get a registration form.

Show your cougar pride and purchase a laptop sleeve for only $15 in room 202 before or after school.  Checks are accepted and can be written to SMNW BPA or DECA

If you received an invitation letter from National Honor Society in seminar last week and are interested in pursuing the application, make sure you attend one of the mandatory parent/student meetings being held in the auditorium TODAY at 7:00pm OR this Thursday morning at 7:00am.  Thanks!!

If you love books and reading, come to Student Library Advisory Board meeting this Wednesday, August 27 at 2:50 in the library.  We will have galleys for checkout!

Key Club is meeting Friday at 7:10 in room 155.  Come see what this community service club is all about!  If you cannot attend the before school meeting come to the library after school.

Let’s DANCE our way into Little Shop of Horrors! Join us in the auditorium after school from 3-6. We will be learning some dances and getting warmed up for auditions! Hope to see you there!

A JCCC college now representative will be in cafeteria 1 this Thursday from 2-4pm.  She will be accepting authorization forms, ACT results, and enrollments.  Students must have turned in their JCCC applications before this time to receive this service.  The deadline for applications and authorizations forms is Friday Aug.29.

If you purchased student parking pass please stop by the SRO’s office to get your permit.  If you have not purchased your permit you need to do so by paying the book keeper in the main office.  Enforcement of the school parking lot rules will begin next week.

Attentions ALL Students: We only have a few rules here at NW during lunch that will make the lunch experience go better.  Please make sure you don’t take the black trays out of the cafeteria, throw away your trash after you eat and stay in the designated lunch areas until the bell rings indicating your lunch is over.  You are not to be in the academic areas anytime during your lunch.
