A reminder to all Gymnasts and Managers…… the team is having pictures taken today for the fall sports brochure and buttons.  Seniors also have pictures for their posters.

An organizational meeting for Spanish club will be held Wednesday, August 27th after school in room 115.  Bring your calendars and your ideas to plan a fun-filled year of Spanish!   Hasta pronto!

Hey Hey Hey!!!  Orange Army T-shirts sales are starting – this year is ORANGE CAMO!!!  You MUST preorder the t-shirt by completing the order form and paying $10.  Student Council will take orders at tables  set up in the mall during lunches this week OR take your order forms and money to room 132 after school (to Mrs. Dent) by this Friday, Aug. 29.  Parent, sibling, and faculty shirts are available.

Registration for night school is tomorrow August 26 and Tuesday, the 27 at Horizons High School from 4 – 6 p.m.  See your academic counselor prior to this date to get a registration form.

Show your cougar pride and purchase a laptop sleeve for only $15 in room 202 before or after school.  Checks are accepted and can be written to SMNW BPA or DECA

If you received an invitation letter from National Honor Society in seminar last week and are interested in pursuing the application, make sure you attend one of the mandatory parent/student meetings being held in the auditorium this Tuesday evening at 7:00pm OR Thursday morning at 7:00am.  Thanks!!

Any junior or senior boy, not participating in a fall sport, who is interested in trying out for basketball this year needs to attend a meeting at 7:20 this Tuesday morning, August 26, in room 228.

There is a BPA meeting Tuesday, morning 7:10 in room 202.  If you can not make it but would like to join BPA please see Mrs. Berg in room 202.

FALL SPORTS PARENT/STUDENT NIGHT

Don’t forget that TONIGHT is the fall sports parent/student night starting at 6:30pm.  All Parents and student athletes playing a fall sport are required to attend.

Do you want to own riches beyond your wildest dreams? Do you want to wield a demonic scimitar? Do you want to slay a dragon? Do you want to fight your way through an epic adventure? All this and more with a table-top game! Attend the Role Playing Game club this Thursday at 7 before school in the library! See you there!

If you love books and reading, come to Student Library Advisory Board meeting this Wednesday, August 27 at 2:50 in the library.  We will have galleys for checkout!

If you purchased student parking pass please stop by the SRO’s office to get your permit.  If you have not purchased your permit you need to do so by paying the book keeper in the main office.  Enforcement of the school parking lot rules will begin next week.

Attentions ALL Students: We only have a few rules here at NW during lunch that will make the lunch experience go better.  Please make sure you don’t take the black trays out of the cafeteria, throw away your trash after you eat and stay in the designated lunch areas until the bell rings indicating your lunch is over.  You are not to be in the academic areas anytime during your lunch.
