The canned food drive, sponsored by Student Council Nov. 11- Nov. 15 raised 10,799 cans from the competition. The school raised $6,414.96 in donations and met both goals for cans (7,000) and money ($4,000).
“It’s been several years since we met both can and cash goals,” Student Council sponsor Sarah Dent said.
The winner for large classes, which were 20 students and over, were math teacher Randi Platko with over 7 thousand points per student. The medium classes were made up of 11-19 students. The winner was the language arts teacher, Kenneth King with 6,600 points per student.For the small classes which, have 10 or less students, science teacher Johnny Winston got first with 10,000 points per student.
