Girl Effect will be hosting their third annual fashion show at 7 p.m. on Nov. 16. The show will be held at the Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church in Lenexa, located at 9400 Pflumm Rd., Lenexa.
“People see that they really can make a difference when their donations are going directly to the organization,” Girl Effect president Olivia Broome said.
All proceeds will go to the Darja Academy in Kenya. There will be no entrance fee, and all donations will be accepted at the event.
