Preview: Not only is Frankenweenie a new addition to the collection of films Tim Burton has directed, it is receiving a great amount of hype. Let’s face it, everyone loves a little Tim Burton now and again. Tim Burton’s recent films have been significantly less successful (i.e. Alice in Wonderland, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) than his earlier ones. A finer product will be expected from Burton in his new animated film Frankenweenie, a claymation that is very similar to his Corpse Bride and The Nightmare Before Christmas. It seems like Burton is taking a subtle turn back to the late ‘80s and early ‘90s when he released Batman and The Nightmare Before Christmas. A satisfying turnout is expected for Frankenweenie.
