Nov. 7: Northwest Choir Festival- 7 p.m. in the Northwest auditorium

Come support all of the students in the choir as they sing at the Choir Festival!

Nov. 9: KMEA Auditions- All day at Olathe East

Music students will attend the annual Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA) auditions. Each year, students throughout the state of Kansas have the opportunity to to audition to perform at District Festivals and at the KMEA In-Service workshop. 

Nov. 11: NHS Inductions: 7 p.m. in the Greg Parker auditorium

Are you in NHS (National Honors Society)? Inductions are November 11th at 7 p.m. Induction is required for current members. Business casual attire is required.

Nov. 16: MSFD Dance- 8 p.m.-10 p.m. in the Northwest cafeteria

Sons bring your mothers, daughters bring your dads to the annual Mother-Son/Father-Daughter dance. Dress in period clothes for your chosen decade. Only juniors and seniors may attend. Admission is $5 per person. 

Nov. 18: BVW Chamber Choir Invitational- Off-campus

This is an event that the Chamber Singers at SMNW have been invited to every year since the concert started in 2002. Each fall, several area Chamber groups (around 16-30 singers) get together and perform for each other. It is hosted at Blue Valley West. It is an evening to hear some of the best singers in the state perform. 

Nov. 22: Cappuccino Day: 7 a.m. in the mall

CCC will sell drinks and cookies for $1 each 1st through 4th hours. The funds will be used to help a NW family with medical expenses. 

Nov. 26: Thanksgiving Break Begins
