The boys soccer team had their annual senior night on Oct. 13 against SM North. The seniors on this year’s squad are Connor Holman, Aaron Terrill, Colby Weishaar, David Fancher, Bill Kolega, Logan Knisley, Christian Caldwell, Luke Moore and Eric Zoellner.

All of the seniors started the game and the chemistry was apparent. Northwest scored five goals in the first half while not allowing North to score.

During halftime, each of the nine seniors was recognized along with their parents.

Nothing changed for the Cougars in the second half. Northwest scored four more goals to rout the Indians with a score of 9-0. Goals were scored by Holman (2), Kolega (2), Fancher, Terrill, freshman Ethan Bowman (2), sophomore Colin Jones. Zoellner recorded the shutout for the Cougars as well.

“ really shows that all the seniors, and the whole team for that matter, are here to play for each other,” senior Connor Holman said. “We all represent and want to help each other out on the field.”
